š¶ Afternoon outing to the Cinematic performance by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Starting with the only thing it can - the main title from Star Wars then straight into the shark theme from Jaws.
Iāve started doing nine day fortnights as a trial until the end of the year. I have to say, this might become permanent in 2026.
Iāve done all my chores and the home stuff Iād usually do on a Saturday or Sunday; leaving the weekend free to relax.
Checked my emails while having coffee on the way to work and rolled my eyes at the latest instalment in an ongoing demonstration of denial by someone.
Rather apt āLand of Make Believeā by Bucks Fizz was then playing as I drove into the work carpark.
The Cat is very displeased at being scooped up and put in a cat carrier when she thought she was about to be fed.
This displeasure is being vocalised to the entire neighbourhood like a criminal loudly proclaiming their innocence from behind bars.
I assume this will continue all the way to the vet.
Being from Australia Iām a firm believer in Halloween being imported US nonsense. However, I donāt do bah humbug at work and go along with whatever is planned.
My contribution will be these two meerkats on my desk thanks to the Aldi aisle of dreams (special buys) this weekend. š

Friend dropping me home and as Iām about to get out of the car says āIām going to leave you with thisā then sang B-O-P-G-I-R-L got the whole world searching for their own bop girl.
She then cackles like a mad woman and says enjoy the ear worm. Evil, just evil.
Work recently released a draft restructuring proposal with a feedback period closing last Friday. Whenever Iāve heard someone comment it was good to have an opportunity to give feedback Iāve wanted to respond with āsweet innocent child there will be no changes, feedback is a tick a box exerciseā.
Trying out some new tea I picked up from McIverās shop at the Victoria Markets in Melbourne.
I picked the (Itās A) Bolshie Brew mainly because of the name. It has a good smokey flavour which isnāt overpowering and is a blend of Lapsang and Assam.
The Minerās Tea is very similar to Yorkshire tea.
