“Stop corporate greed” protest on an apartment development site at the end of my street with a large crane prevented from entering site. Two police cars and three police bikes keeping an eye on the protestors and not a single one doing anything about the crane blocking visibility on the main road.

Stumbled across this Star Trek Picard ending but with the Beach Boys. So good. 🖖🏻

Finished The Diplomat on Netflix.

Good pacing, underlying story isn’t overly complex and links everything together. I’ve seen comparisons to West Wing but I think it’s closer to Madam Secretary. If you liked those or more recently The Night Agent or The Recruit on Netflix you should enjoy this. 📺

Worf has had the best lines throughout the season.

That final scene with the TNG crew, a perfect way to end.

🍸 Clocked off and going to a long lunch on a Tuesday. How decadent.

👴 I appear to have reached that stage of life where I straighten up, hold my lower back and sigh “oh dear”.

I count myself very fortunate to live close to the Brisbane river where I can find a patch of grass and enjoy a pleasant end to the Easter long weekend.
