Upside to switching to mastodon is the noise generated by some people on the bird site has been left behind. The absence of their content in my timeline has highlighted how I’d become blind (inured?) to some things. I do miss some good people that resolutely remain there though.

Started the day with a false fire alarm at 6:02am. Pretty sure not everyone came down to ground from their apartments. At least the brigade was quick and we were back inside in 20 minutes.
